SPELLING QUIZ RUBRIC:

  • Spelling Quizzes will consist of 15 words (10 spelling (random) + 5 challenge words) and 3-5 sentences.

  • 2pts……Spelling word spelled correctly and underlined.

  • 1pt……..Vocabulary word circled.

  • 2pts……Correct capitalization and punctuation.

  • TOTAL: 5pts PER sentence, SO a total of 15-25 points for the 3-5 sentences.

The spelling quiz will equal 30-40 points total. (15 words plus 5 sentences worth 25 points).

40 points = 100%

-1 = 98%

-2 = 95%

-3 = 93%

-4 = 90%

-5 = 88%

and so on…..
